Ladder Flow MCP Server

Ladder Flow exposes a live Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT can connect directly to your Ladder Flow account and act on your behalf — no copy-pasting between apps.

How to connect

Pick your AI app below and follow the steps. You'll sign in with your Ladder Flow account once — no API keys to manage.

Your MCP endpoint

Paste this URL wherever your AI app asks for an MCP server address. Authentication is handled via OAuth — no API keys to copy.

Claude (claude.ai)

Available on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. Free accounts can add one custom connector.

  1. 1Open claude.ai in your browser (or the Claude desktop app).
  2. 2Go to Settings → Customize → Connectors.
  3. 3Click the + Add button to open the Add custom connector dialog.
  4. 4Name it "LadderFlow" and paste this URL in Remote MCP server URL: https://mcp.ladderflow.ai/mcp
  5. 5Leave Advanced settings (OAuth Client ID / Secret) blank — Ladder Flow uses automatic OAuth discovery.
  6. 6Click Add. You'll see the connector page showing "You are not connected to LadderFlow yet."
  7. 7Click Connect, then sign in with your Ladder Flow account (email, Google, Microsoft, GitHub, or Apple).
  8. 8Start a new chat. Click the + button in the message box, open Connectors, and turn on Ladder Flow for that conversation.
  9. 9Ask something like "What does my Brain know about pricing?" to try it.

Having trouble?

  • Sign-in didn't work? Make sure you have a Ladder Flow account — sign up free first, then retry the OAuth flow.
  • Tools not showing up? In Claude, enable the connector per chat via the + button → Connectors. In ChatGPT, confirm Developer mode is on and your Ladder Flow plugin was created successfully at chatgpt.com/plugins.
  • In mcp.json but not in the list? Entries prefixed with extension- come from IDE extensions — not your mcp.json. After editing ~/.cursor/mcp.json, reload Cursor (Developer: Reload Window) or use + New MCP Server. ladderflow should then appear under Installed MCP Servers (often as "Needs authentication" until you click Authenticate).
  • Cursor Agent didn't set up MCP? Approve the file edit when prompted, or use Option B and paste the config into ~/.cursor/mcp.json yourself.
  • Cursor shows "Needs authentication"? The server is configured but not signed in — click Authenticate next to ladderflow in Settings → Tools & MCPs and complete OAuth. Turn on "Wait for MCP Authentication" if the sign-in window closes too quickly.
  • Free Claude plan? You can connect one custom MCP server. Disconnect any other custom connector first if you hit the limit.

Sessions

List every past voice session, or check the status, phase, and transcript-so-far of any one — including a session that's been launched but not yet started, or one still mid-recording.

Drafts

List, read, and edit your generated LinkedIn posts and X threads directly in the conversation, then get a link to review and publish in-app.

Generate new content

Produce new LinkedIn posts or X threads from a topic, specific Brain memories, or your own custom signal.

One thing it won't do

MCP can research, draft, edit, and analyze — it never publishes on your behalf. You always make the final call to publish, in-app.

Authentication

Connecting requires signing in with your Ladder Flow account via OAuth 2.1 — a secure, industry-standard login flow, separate from your LinkedIn/X publishing connections. There are no shared API keys: each connection is scoped to your own account and can be revoked at any time.
